Celebrate Bike to Wherever Month and recognize everyone who walks, bikes, rolls, and rides public transit in the City! The block party will be held on 4th Street, closed to vehicles - open to people, between Mendocino Avenue and B Street.
Live music begins at 2:30 p.m. with SR Youth Marimba, followed at 4pm by Rascauches, a cumbia barn band from Sonoma County, and to close out the night at 5:30 p.m. Late for the Train, a nationally recognized indie-folk string quartet rooted in American folk and bluegrass music will take the stage.
Free family-friendly activities & bike parking. Beer, sparkling water, and juice box sales benefiting the Latino Service providers.

The legendary GranFondo race is coming to Sonoma County this month, and serious road cyclists are getting in gear. We are thrilled that the event organizers have asked the Taco Tuesday gang to lead the Family Fondo – a family-friendly bike cruise – the morning of the race. It will be a flat, 8-mile slow roll, ending at the Town Green for an epic festival to celebrate the riders finishing the race. Decorate your bikes for spring, and bring your peeps and bunny ears! It’s a beautiful time of year to tour the Southeast Greenway! This 2-mile stretch of land will one day host a much needed safe East-West bike route to Spring Lake. Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition is partnering with Redwood Bikeshare to provide an introduction to Sonoma County's first e-bike sharing program! Bikeable’s Get-to-Know-Your-City rides are back from winter hibernation, just in time to enjoy all the new leaves of spring! Join us for a family-friendly, delightful tour of the "guerilla-planted" trees and plants in Santa Rosa. Enjoy the work of neighbors and community organizers who banded together over the years with the goal of providing a better tree canopy in our neighborhoods for shade and beauty. The Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition is hosting its second Advocacy Summit focusing on how active transportation plans move from vision to reality, and the need for community members to stay involved in the process. This is super great timing since, in 2025, every city in Sonoma County will adopt new long-term plans guiding the creation of their bicycle and pedestrian networks. Our allies at Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition are offering a fun introduction to the new Redwood Bikeshare program that is rolling out in cities up and down the SMART line. In this class, participants will learn how to use the bikeshare system and its smartphone app, and practice adjusting and riding the bikes. The experience will include a short ride around the neighborhood and to other nearby bikeshare stations. (FREE, Register Here)

Join our allies at the Southeast Greenway Campaign for a walk along the 2-mile SE Greenway property. During this informational walk, volunteers will show you the natural beauty and features of the property. You’ll also learn about the planning process that is getting started now that the property has been acquired by the city, including where features such as trails, bike paths, community gardens, and mixed-use housing might go. Bikeable has joined other community groups and transit orgs to participate in this year’s national Week Without Driving. We are calling on elected officials to try living in their jurisdictions for one week without driving to test out how well the transportation infrastructure works for those who cannot drive. You can join the challenge in solidarity for the whole week, or just one day. Sign up here.

Worried that the cold might put a damper on Taco Tuesday fun? We got you covered! Bikeable Santa Rosa will be serving free hot cider at the Taco Tuesday Courthouse Square stop -- around 6:30 or 6:45 pm -- every for the next two Tuesdays in December. We’ll be sharing info about our campaign and giving folks the chance to sign up, too!
Join us for our inaugural Tip o’ the Hat Ride! Earlier this year, city transportation staff took the leap and installed a protected bike lane on Armory Drive. We’re getting together to celebrate this first step towards a protected network, and tip our hats to the city! Decorate your helmet or bring a fun, silly, funky, or beloved hat along. We’ll ride along Armory in our hats and then pose for photos. Like our previous rides, this ride will be flat, slow, and under five miles. Riders of all ages and abilities are welcome and there will be time before and after at Humboldt Park for snacks and conversation. Flyer below.
It’s the return of the Holiday Light Ride with Santa Rosa Taco Tuesday! If you missed this last year, you have another chance! The route will take us from Julliard Park out to Christmas Tree Lane (near Montgomery Village) and back, with a special stop at Boudin for those who want to grab a bite or a drink.
